We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a pivotal role in transforming a core financial product.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, testing, and delivery of reliable backend services
Help define and evolve the system architecture in a service-oriented environment
Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Deliver high-availability, high-scalability services in a cloud-native environment
Mentor peers and foster a strong engineering culture
Drive innovation through new ideas and continuous improvements
Work closely with product and design teams throughout the product lifecycle
Support production systems and participate in the on-call rotation
Preferred Background & Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
4+ years of backend development experience with modern tech stacks
2+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Kotlin, or Scala
Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and ORM tools
Experience with microservices or service-oriented architecture (SOA)
Comfortable working in Kubernetes-based infrastructure environments
Strong sense of ownership and ability to work end-to-end from concept to production
Familiarity with collaborative development practices like code reviews and CI/CD pipelines
Nice To Have
Interest in personal finance or experience with consumer financial products
Familiarity with distributed systems technologies such as Kafka and Docker
Exposure to full-stack development (React, TypeScript, or similar)
Prior experience in fintech, digital banking, or financial services
